Project Three Cat Update

 

Here are the cats coloured, I included the striped one even though the group agreed it was too detailed and we needed to keep to the simple aesthetic. I might need to add more frames to make the animation more smooth.

These are my initial cat sketches, I was sure about the stripes so I left them out on the other frames and have a version of the first image without the stripes, I will get the groups input first before using the stripes on all frames.

 

Project Three - Birdy

 

I've been assigned the job of redesigning the characters in RKR (Run Kiwi Run) with Thomas' cartoony aesthetic. I have begun with the bird that drops rocks onto enemy rats

 

 

Project Three - My Aesthetic

This is my aesthetic. I drew what the kiwi could look like and a basic environment, similar to Thomas'. I like the look of my kiwi but I feel he would be hard to animate, because of this and many other reasons we have decided to stick with Thomas' original cartoon aesthetic.

 

Project Three - Run Kiwi Run

 

I am part of the Run Kiwi Run group, consisting of Thomas, Kyle, Skye and myself. We have not quite established jobs yet but we are all going to begin by designing our own aesthetic. Above is Thomas' original aesthetic, which we may stick with if we decide our designs are no better.
